Information Requests
Would you like to teach about wildlife and conservation issues, but feel that you don’t have the technical background?  The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Teacher Resource Center can help!  In addition to our Loan Kits, we’ve put together a collection of curriculum guides, fact sheets, brochures and websites that can help you in the classroom.  These resources offer basic information to assist you in teaching your students.

Contact the Resource Center if you need help locating information.  You may submit your requests via e-mail to librarian@columbuszoo.org, by fax to (614) 724-3653 or phone (614) 724-3610.

Keeper Interviews
Due to the large number of requests for personal interviews, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is no longer able to connect students directly to the keepers.  However, students may e-mail interview questions to librarian@columbuszoo.org or fax them to (614) 724-3653.  The librarian will then have the appropriate person answer them.  Please allow five days to receive a response.  Teachers, please take these restrictions into consideration when making assignments.

Teacher Advisory Panel
The Teacher Advisory Panel works with the Columbus Zoo staff to provide essential feedback regarding educational programs. This panel consists of educators from a variety of teaching disciplines and grade levels and is comprised of public, private and home school educators. If you are interested in applying to be a member of this group, please contact us at teacher@columbuszoo.org for more information.
